Encouraging WORD

Proverbs 14:29
He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

Proverbs 15:1
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Or, in other words…

Be Slow to Speak,
Slow to Anger and
Quick to Listen

These verses in the Bible teach us how to deal with confrontation.
Whenever someone else is upset or angry, be sure to take time to listen and hear them out before lashing back. Try to get a deeper understanding of why they are upset and put yourself in their shoes. Then respond with their best interest at heart in a soft tone and bring calm to the situation.

Have a blessed day!
